When you go into the Account Setting of Mail (Click Mail from the menu, then Preferences)
To change outgoing server settings, as directed by your email account provider, choose Edit SMTP Server List.
Under Outgoing mail server (SMTP) settings, remove the tick next to Automatically manage connection settings.
Select the Use TLS/SSL and enter 465 in the Port option.
