You may be experiencing SIP registration issues with your Grandstream HT801 that is connected to a Huawei HG659 router. In this case, please disable SIP ALG in the router.

To disable SIP ALG on a Huawei HG659 router, follow these steps to turn off the setting in the web interface.

1.Log in to the router portal:Prerequisite: Connected to local network.

Open a web browser, type 192.168.1.1 into the address bar, and press Enter. Log in using your admin credentials (default username is typically admin and the password is on the label on the back of the router).

2.Navigate to Network Applications:

Click on the Network Applications tab in the main top navigation bar.

3.Open ALG Settings:

In the left sidebar menu, click on ALG (Application Level Gateway).

4.Disable SIP ALG:

Locate the SIP ALG option in the list. Clear/uncheck the Enable SIP ALG checkbox (or toggle the switch to Disable depending on your firmware version).

5.Save and apply settings:

Click the Save button at the bottom of the page to apply the changes.
