Continuation from PART 1 of How to configure D-Link DSL-X1852E Router for your NBN Service

Step 1 - Internet Settings

You've selected Ethernet.

 

IF your Service Type is FTTC or HFC, then enable the Vlan ID and enter 100 in the Vlan ID field, as shown below.

IF your Service Type is FTTP, then make sure there is nothing in Vlan ID and that the Enable Vlan ID switch is set to Disable as shown in the diagram below:

Under IPv4 Settings, pull down the Connection menu and select PPPoE.

Then enter the PPPoE username and password credentials you were given. in their respective fields.

And then scroll to the top and click the Save button.
